CMC CEVENINI AT CPP 2008

CPP 2008 recently held at McCormick Place in Chicago enabled continued success for the promotion and sale of more CMC Cevenini Lathe slitters into the American market.
To demonstrate how CEVENINI can help customers to reach their goal we used the exhibition as a platform to launch the all new NM5 series machinery.
The beneficiary of this technology is always the end users namely our clients; and there are plenty of benefits to talk about.
Brushless control technology allows faster indexing speeds, swivel arm display allows ergonomic control, stainless steel back water tray assures durability, easier sharpening unit adjustment from the front, larger blade capacities to enable conversion of bigger diameter logs.
These are just a few of the new innovations, visitors to the CMC booth were able to actually see working machinery slitting tapes down to 0.039” (2mm). Judging by the number of high quality serious leads that were obtained at the show, this is testimony to the reputation CMC CEVENINI has built up over the many years within the converting industry. Clients continue to return to CMC to take advantage of our advanced know-how in slitting techniques, proof of this came during the days of the show in the form of Order Placement for the two machines on demonstration, that is Model E320/NM5 (sold to one of CEVENINI already exhisting customers in Chicago area) and Model E420/NM5.
Obviously the personnel at the booth were delighted and thought it was a fitting conclusion to CPP 2008.
Furthermore, in a less than ideal trading period for most manufacturing companies worldwide CMC CEVENINI will deliver soon one AUTOMATIC LOG SLITTER MOD. E500/NM5 to Company VENTIX GROUP/BAJA TAPE & SUPPLY, INC.(TX) and one AUTOMATIC LOG SLITTER MOD. E420/NM5 to Company LOHMANN TECHNOLOGIES (KY).
